For the one who is ready to stop assuming and start receiving.

If everything in this book has stirred something in you — a conviction, a recognition, a fear that you have been living on assumption rather than genuine surrender — this prayer is for you. Read it slowly. Pray it honestly. Mean every word.

Lord Jesus,

I come to You not because I am worthy — but because You are. I come not with a record of righteousness, but with the honest confession that I have lived on my own terms, assumed Your grace without receiving it, and hardened my heart against Your voice more times than I can count.

I repent. I am not just sorry for what I have done — I am turning from it. I am done running. I am done delaying. I am done assuming that tomorrow is promised when You have been clear that only today is offered.

I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe You died for my sins, that Your blood is the only payment sufficient for everything I have done and everything I am. I believe You rose from the dead and that You are alive right now, hearing this prayer.

I receive You. Not as a concept. Not as a religious tradition. As my Lord. The authority over my life from this day forward. I give You what I have been keeping — my will, my habits, my future, my whole self.

Save me. Change me. Fill me with Your Spirit. And let the life I live from this moment forward be proof that something real happened here — that the door was open, and I walked through it.

In the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and my Savior,
Amen.

If you prayed that prayer sincerely today, tell someone. Find a Bible-believing church. Open the Word of God and begin reading in the Gospel of John.

“There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. (Luke 15:10)”
