What Is W.O.W.?
Women of Wisdom (W.O.W.) is the women’s ministry of THE BRIDGE at Breaking Bread Global Ministries — a leadership course and a sisterhood, raising up a new generation of women who know how to pray, how to carry order, how to mentor, and how to stand.
For generations, the Church Mother was a pillar of the house of God. She was not a decoration. She was not a figurehead. She was an office. W.O.W. exists to bring that honor back — built on the teaching of The Real Role of Church Mothers, a leadership course authored by Breaking Bread Global Ministries.
The Seven Roles of the Church Mother
1. The Intercessor
She prays the church through storms. The front line of her ministry is her closet.
2. The Keeper of Order
She guards the standard of the house with love, reverence, and wisdom.
3. The Titus 2 Mentor
She teaches the younger women the ways of holiness, home, and honor.
4. The Keeper of History
She carries the testimony of what God has already done, so no generation forgets.
5. The Spiritual Comforter
She brings the presence of God to the wounded and the weary.
6. The Counselor to Leadership
She speaks wisdom to pastors and leaders — wisdom earned on her knees.
7. The Guardian of the Altar
She stands watch over the move of God and keeps the altar holy.
The Mother Board
Each role is walked out through Mother Board sessions: gathered times of teaching, testimony, discussion, reflection, and prayer. Every session closes with a reflection prompt and prayer, so that wisdom is not just heard — it is carried.
