Liberia

The Heritage

Liberia — “land of the free” — was founded by freed men and women who crossed an ocean to plant a nation of their own. Through hard years and healing ones, the Liberian church has remained a tree planted by the water: singing hymns through the storm and rebuilding with the patience of people who know what redemption costs.

Jerome Jones Ministries stands in covenant with Liberia, honoring her pastors and churches, resourcing their teaching and ministry, and praying Isaiah’s words over her: that Liberia’s people may be called trees of righteousness — the planting of the Lord.

The Fruit We Pray For

A nation that has known storm values the quiet. Liberia’s churches carry a deep, hard-won peace — the kind that holds when circumstances shake. We pray for this fruit to shelter the whole nation: peace in the pulpits, peace in the homes, and peace on the streets where children play.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22–23
