The Heritage
Kenya’s national motto is harambee — Swahili for “all pull together.” It is more than a saying; it is how the nation builds schools, waters villages, and lifts one another. It is also, word for word, the posture of the first church in the book of Acts.
Jerome Jones Ministries carries an active, joyful covenant with Kenya — classrooms built, children fed, pastors trained, and a community of faith that has become family to us. We honor Kenyan leadership and stand together with the churches of Kenya in the work of the Kingdom.
The Covenant Artifact — The Maasai Shield
The shield of the Maasai — carried not to hide behind, but to stand together. Kenya’s own word for it is harambee: all pull together. That is the church’s posture in this nation: one people, pulling one load, under one Savior.
The Fruit We Pray For
The love of Christ in Kenya has a name: harambee. It pulls people into the room, pulls food onto the table, pulls orphans into families. We pray for this fruit to keep growing — congregations so marked by love that the world recognizes them, exactly as Jesus said it would.
