Ghana

The Heritage

Ghana — the Gold Coast — was the first sub-Saharan nation to rise into independence, and it has been leading ever since: in scholarship, in commerce, and above all in faith. Ghanaian churches have carried the Gospel across the whole continent and beyond, planting congregations on every continent where Africans have settled.

Jerome Jones Ministries is honored to stand in covenant with Ghana — a people who know that the Kingdom advances not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit. We honor Ghanaian leadership, resource her teachers, and pray for her continued faithfulness to the Gospel that made her strong.

The Fruit We Pray For

Ghana’s sankofa is a picture of faithfulness: the discipline of looking back to the old paths so you can walk forward on them. We pray for this fruit to deepen in Ghana — a church that keeps the faith in every generation, and hands the Gospel to its children undimmed.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22–23
