Gambia

The Heritage

The Gambia is called the Smiling Coast of Africa — a river nation of hospitality, warmth, and welcome. For generations its griots carried the story of the people in music; today its churches carry a greater story in the same spirit: gladly, publicly, with a smile.

Jerome Jones Ministries stands in covenant with the fellowship of The Gambia, honoring the local pastors who serve her villages and river towns, resourcing them with sound teaching, and praying that the company of those who publish the Word keeps growing along the whole length of the river.

The Fruit We Pray For

The Gambian church proclaims boldly and smiles easily — proof that the Gospel can be published without a raised voice. We pray for the fruit of gentleness to flourish here: congregations whose kindness opens doors that argument never could, and believers whose warmth makes the Gospel feel like home.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” — Galatians 5:22–23

Covenant Partner — Gambia

Our partner ministry in Gambia will be introduced as formal announcements are made. We honor our partners’ timing and their leadership, and we share their names with the same care they extend to us.
